WebDec 26, 2010 · Depending on the medical school you apply to you may get a GPA "boost" if your school is considered compeditive, very compeditive etc. For example the medical school I'm applying to gives a .55 added onto my GPA for being part of the honors college, while anyone else applying from my school only gets a .35 boost. Totally worth it.
